Please see below the type of itinerary that can be arranged for school groups and excursions to Moreton Island. Big Cat Reality can comfortably take over 150 children. Risk assessments have been carried out on our in-water activities. The timetable below can be altered to suit your requirements.
8.00am Departure from Newport Marina
10.00am Arrival at Bulwer Moreton Island
10.15am Eco Tour starts with live commentary
11.15am Boom netting
12.00pm Lunch
12.30pm Island activity 25 pupils per activity rotate every 25 mins
- Snorkel with professional dive leaders
- Beach combing (school supervision)
- Island exploration with a ranger
- Sand castle competition (school supervision)
2.00pm Departure
4.00pm Arrive Newport Marina
* Sausage lunch can be provided
* Minimum numbers 100 children
* Teachers and carers travel free of charge
* Reality Cruises to provide in-water supervision for water sports

- Effect of soil salinisation
- Land use and soil erosion
- Monitoring soil erosion
- Effective island management
- Understanding soil eco system
- Flora & fauna
- Wildlife
